A very cozy, family-run hotel in the middle of the city, right next to the beautiful town hall, the market square and many small shops. The owner family and the service team are very warm and helpful and have already provided me with a room at very short notice twice. My room (facing the street was unfortunately a bit noisy due to the vehicles on the cobblestones, but there are also rooms on the other side) was small (as needed), nice and clean. The free wifi worked without any problems. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked, everything fresh and very tasty. I haven't been to the in-house restaurant yet, but apparently, according to other guests, it's also very good and popular. After the closure in November, I'll be back for sure.

Dear Fam. Jauch u. Roth My wife and I were guests in your great house from September 5th to September 10th, 2020, which we were absolutely thrilled with. No wish was left unfulfilled, and your excellent food as well as the nice service invited us every evening to your lovely cozy restaurant. The sun (in the nose shield) reflects what awaits the guest: friendliness, comfort, courtesy, helpfulness and enthusiasm in the team. Family and work are still lived here. My respect.

Really friendly staff good food and good prices for the hotel

Good hotel and the rooms were comfortable. Only one of the whole staff, spoke English. So it was hard to feel welcome. Staff wasn’t always friendly.

Very friendly service! Nice modern rooms (annex), very good restaurant. Located in the middle of town. So everything fits ... ;-)

We went there for dinner today and wanted to sit outside. In the inner courtyard there is a wonderful Mediterranean idyll. We ate very well and had a very friendly, courteous service. Thanks for the delicious Willi :-) We'd love to come back if we ever find ourselves in the area again. Greetings from table 31 :-)

A good old inn in great condition. Very friendly staff. You have to see that in Gengenbach. The garden management in the courtyard is particularly beautiful.

Great location, right in the beautiful Gengenbach. We were received very friendly, without prior reservation we received a cheap room. Finally a bathroom with hanging hooks for washcloths, that is rare. Also the breakfast buffet was very good. Thank you very much

Very nice and well-kept hotel. Very clean, nice, big, modern room. Own parking. Nice and friendly staff. Only at breakfast we would have wished, that the service on the idea comes, that our two-year-old son would like to drink something other than the coffee, on the table. We had to wait a long time each morning for someone to pick up a cocoa order.

Location outstanding...food outstanding....great service...very friendly....yes, no A/C...but normal in the region...

We have been there several times and have never been disappoonted. Excellent local food, reasonable pricing, excellent service. Definitely worth to go there.

Wonderful little town to enjoy and energize. Now to the hotel ... The greeting as well as the staff were very courteous and took care of our affairs such as the car garage etc. The room itself was spacious and well-kept for the price.

Gengenbach was beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! The food was also fantastic - try the snails!
